Choosing where to exercise during pregnancy is an important decision. You want an instructor who understands how your body is changing, who can confidently adapt exercises when needed and who will help you stay active without making you feel like you have to sit on the sidelines.

That’s exactly what we strive to provide.

We believe pregnancy is a time to adapt movement, not stop moving.

Our goal isn’t to hand you an entirely different workout simply because you’re pregnant. Instead, we make thoughtful modifications that allow you to continue participating in class as fully as you’re comfortable doing.

Many of our prenatal clients continue taking classes throughout all three trimesters, often with only a handful of adjustments along the way.

all of our instructors receive prenatal education and hands-on experience as part of their training.

All of our instructors complete a comprehensive four-month instructor training program before teaching independently.

As part of that training, they learn how pregnancy affects movement, posture, balance, core function and joint stability. They also learn how to modify exercises for each stage of pregnancy while helping clients continue to feel challenged, confident and successful in class.

We focus on evidence, not outdated myths.

Pregnancy advice has changed significantly over the years. Our approach reflects current understanding of prenatal exercise and is designed to help clients continue moving safely while respecting the natural changes occurring in the body.

Rather than relying on blanket rules or unnecessary restrictions, we focus on helping you understand why certain modifications may be recommended and when they may be appropriate.

small modifications can make a big difference.

Most prenatal modifications are surprisingly simple.

Sometimes it’s adjusting your position, changing your range of motion, elevating your hands during a plank or substituting a different variation of the same exercise.

Our goal is always to preserve the intent of the movement while making it better suited to your changing body.

every pregnancy is different.

There is no single “prenatal Pilates program.”

Some clients continue exercising with very few modifications throughout pregnancy. Others require additional support much earlier. Neither approach is more correct than the other.

We’ll help you find the level of challenge that’s appropriate for your body, your stage of pregnancy and how you’re feeling that day.

you're never expected to have all the answers.

You don’t need to know which exercises to avoid or exactly when to modify. That’s what we’re here for.

Simply let your instructor know you’re pregnant before class begins. We’ll guide you through any modifications you may need and answer questions along the way, so you can focus on enjoying your workout rather than worrying about whether you’re doing the “right” thing.

Whether you’re a longtime Pilates enthusiast or brand new to the reformer, we’re honored to be part of your pregnancy journey. Our goal is to help you stay active, strong and confident throughout every stage of pregnancy.
