1.Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of this website and to the classes, memberships and other services offered by Core Collective Pilates (“Core Collective,” “we,” “us” or “our”).
By using this website, submitting a form, booking a class or purchasing a membership, class pack or introductory offer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
These Terms work alongside any membership agreement, waiver or studio policy you sign or accept. If a signed agreement and these Terms address the same subject, the signed agreement controls.
2.Use of the website
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes: reading about our studios, viewing schedules, submitting requests and managing your relationship with us.
You agree not to misuse the website. That includes attempting to gain unauthorized access to any account or system, interfering with the site's normal operation, scraping or copying content at scale, or submitting information that is false, misleading or not yours to submit.
Some areas of this site, including the Member Hub, require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3.Eligibility to use our services
To create an account, purchase services or book a class, you must be able to enter into a binding agreement with us. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf and accept responsibility for your participation.
Some offers, memberships and classes have their own eligibility requirements — for example, student pricing requires a valid student ID and full-time enrollment, and certain offers are limited to new clients or to visitors from outside the area. Eligibility requirements are described where the offer is presented.
4.Class bookings, memberships, class packs and introductory offers
Class bookings and purchases are made through our third-party booking and payment platform. Availability is limited and reservations are confirmed through that platform, not by browsing this website.
Pricing, what is included, how long an offer lasts and any restrictions are shown at the time of purchase and in the terms presented by the booking platform. Introductory offers, class packs and promotions may be limited to specific clients, locations, formats or time periods and may be offered once per person.
Memberships include access to classes at both Ann Arbor studio locations, as described on our Pricing page. Class and schedule offerings can change; we may add, remove or reschedule classes, change formats or substitute instructors.
Details such as class pack expiration dates, session rollover and specific offer restrictions are governed by the terms shown at the time of purchase and in your membership agreement.
5.Cancellations, late cancellations and no-shows
Class reservations can be cancelled through the booking platform. We ask that you cancel at least 10 hours before the class start time.
Classes cancelled within 10 hours of the start time are forfeited, and a late-cancellation fee of $8 is charged in addition to the forfeited class. If you do not attend a class you reserved and do not cancel, the class is forfeited and a no-show fee of $12 is charged in addition to the forfeited class.
Because class sizes are small, cancelling as early as possible allows another client to take the spot. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to reserve classes in advance.
6.Membership billing, renewals and termination
Memberships are recurring. By purchasing a membership, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on the recurring schedule and at the rate shown at the time of purchase, until the membership is terminated in accordance with your membership agreement.
Some memberships include a commitment term. To terminate a membership, we require a cancellation request at least 21 days before your renewal date, and you must complete your current membership term to avoid early termination fees. The same requirements apply to members coming off a membership suspension.
Cancellation, suspension, upgrade and downgrade requests are submitted through the forms on this website. Submitting a form is a request, not an approval — the change takes effect only once we confirm it. Until then, your current membership terms continue to apply, including scheduled billing.
You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. Failed or declined payments may result in your membership being paused or your access to classes being suspended.
7.Membership suspensions and freezes
A suspension temporarily pauses your membership. It is not a cancellation — your membership resumes automatically at the end of the suspension period and your commitment term continues from there.
Suspension requests are submitted through the suspension request form and must be confirmed by us. Suspension lengths, any applicable fees (including the one-time fee for student memberships noted on our Membership Changes page) and longer suspensions granted on a case-by-case basis are described on those pages and in your membership agreement.
We charge a $8 suspension fee per 28-day period your account is on hold. This $8 per 28-day suspension fee is our current rate and supersedes any suspension fee stated in your membership agreement.
8.Refunds
Refund eligibility is determined by the terms presented at the time of purchase and by our studio policies. Memberships, class packs, introductory offers and gift cards may be non-refundable in whole or in part.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it with you.
Note for review: any specific refund rules, exceptions or timeframes should be confirmed and stated here.
9.Studio policies and participant responsibilities
While at our studios, you agree to follow posted studio policies and reasonable instructions from our staff and instructors. This includes arriving on time, using equipment as directed, respecting other clients and staff, and following any current health and safety guidance.
You are responsible for participating within your own abilities, using appropriate modifications and telling your instructor about anything that affects how you should move that day — including injuries, pregnancy, recent surgery or medical conditions.
We may decline service, end a class or terminate a membership or account if someone behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive or disruptive to other clients or staff.
10.Assumption of risk
Pilates, strength training, cardio, stretching and related physical activity involve inherent risks, including muscle soreness, strain, injury, aggravation of a pre-existing condition and, in rare cases, serious injury.
By participating in classes, private sessions, events or any other activity offered by Core Collective Pilates, you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily accept them. This section is in addition to, and does not replace, any waiver or release you sign with us.
11.Health and medical responsibility
Nothing on this website is medical advice. Our instructors are movement professionals, not medical providers and information presented here or in class is general in nature.
You are responsible for determining whether you are healthy enough to participate. We recommend consulting a physician before beginning any new exercise program, particularly if you are pregnant, postpartum, recovering from injury or surgery, or managing a medical condition.
Please tell us about relevant health conditions and stop and seek medical attention if you feel unwell during a class.
12.Personal property
Please keep personal belongings with you or in the space provided. Core Collective Pilates is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property brought to our studios, events or parking areas, except where responsibility cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.
13.Website content and intellectual property
The content on this website — including text, photographs, class descriptions, graphics, logos and the Core Collective name and marks — is owned by Core Collective Pilates or used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view and share links to our pages. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or create derivative works from our content without our written permission. Filming or photographing inside the studio requires our permission and the consent of anyone shown.
14.Third-party services and links
We use third-party providers for scheduling, class bookings, payments, gift cards, email and other services and this website links to them. When you use one of those services, that provider's own terms and privacy practices apply in addition to these Terms.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy or practices of third-party websites or services, including any errors in their booking or payment processing. If something goes wrong with a booking or a charge, contact us and we will help you sort it out with the provider.
15.Website availability and errors
We work to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fully current. Schedules, pricing, class formats, instructors and offers can change, and errors can occur.
If information on this website conflicts with the information shown in our booking platform or in a signed agreement, that platform or agreement controls. We may correct errors and update or discontinue any part of the website at any time.
16.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Core Collective Pilates and its owners, employees, instructors and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website or our services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to this website or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
17.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Core Collective Pilates and its owners, employees, instructors and contractors from claims, damages, losses and reasonable expenses arising out of your use of this website or our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of another person.
18.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the Effective Date shown at the top of this page. Material changes to membership terms will also be communicated through the channels we normally use to reach members.
Continuing to use the website or our services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
19.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms, this website or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washtenaw County, Michigan and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
