Lindsay began teaching Pilates in Fall 2021. Having tried other group fitness studios in the past, nothing compared to the encouraging and welcoming atmosphere at Core Collective.

Lindsay received her doctorate in audiology and works as an audiologist specializing in intraoperative cranial nerve monitoring. When not teaching or at the hospital, you will often find Lindsay taking class on the carriage next to you (we can’t keep her away)!

Maddy came from Los Angeles looking for a Pilates studio and found a Pilates family. She had been coming to Core Collective for a few years and it’s now like a second home to her.

While Maddy is not at the studio, she is working as a home infusion nurse and busy with her husband, 2 daughters and 2 labradoodles. Her life is jam packed, but she always make time for Pilates. It gives her the energy she needs to get through the day.

Maddy's favorite class is Core Classic, especially flows that have planks, lunges, and the all-time favorite, feet in straps. She loves a challenging class and pushing herself to get the best out of each workout.

Jennifer began her journey as part of the Core Collective family in the Fall of 2021. Having been a ballet dancer for the majority of her life, she was looking for a workout that would help her maintain core strength and flexibility. After her first pilates class, she instantly fell in love! Jennifer completed pilates instructor training in the summer of 2022 and has found that being an instructor combines her passions for teaching and health/wellness. Jennifer loves introducing new clients to reformer pilates and strives to provide a supportive environment where clients at all levels can challenge themselves and see progress.
Outside of pilates, Jennifer recently completed her PhD from UofM in Cancer Biology and has started her first job in the medical communications industry. After many years of searching for a workout that she truly enjoyed, Gigi (Giselle) discovered Pilates and fell in love.

The studio quickly became one of Gigi’s favorite places as it allows her escape from the busyness of the world, a place to improve upon herself, and a space to empower others.

If she’s not at the studio, you can catch her selling real estate all around southeast Michigan as a Realtor, designing creative work for local businesses as an Art Director, or munching on delicious foods as an avid foodie.

Gigi prides herself on her positive energy and inclusivity making each workout accessible and fun while also a teensy ;) bit challenging for all. Workouts with Gigi are the perfect way to start your day off right!

Rachel grew up as a multidisciplinary dancer for many years until she began pursuing her career as a Physician Assistant. Since then, she found it hard to stick with gym routines that provided the same enjoyment and results she found with dance until she tried reformer pilates.

Rachel was introduced to reformer pilates at Core Collective over a year ago when she moved back home to Michigan. Core Collective gave her the direction, strength, and flexibility she had been looking for all this time. Pilates has given her an outlet to relieve stress and replace it with strength and tranquility.

Rachel strives to create an inclusive, engaging, and challenging environment for both new and experienced clients in her classes. Her goal is to help give clients the opportunity to be a healthier and stronger version of themselves.

When she is not at the studio, Rachel is likely traveling, spending time with her husband and animals, reading a good book, or cooking something tasty

Tia fell in love with Pilates after taking her first class at Core Collective- she was instantly hooked! Originally from Minnesota, Tia moved to Ann Arbor in 2022 and found a welcoming home at the studio when searching for a new way to spice up her fitness routine. As a longtime runner who loves HIIT, she enjoys adding fun lunge sequences and glute work to her sessions while focusing on stability and strength. She aims to create a supportive environment that will leave you feeling strong, motivated, and empowered (and a little sweaty!!).

Outside of the studio, Tia holds doctorate in epigenomics, identifying how molecular markers on DNA influence an individuals overall health. When not in the lab, you can find her paddle boarding, drinking coffee, or browsing a bookstore- but she will most likely be on the reformer next you!

Tia creates her classes for all levels of fitness, from new to the reformer and beyond- she will have you engaged and smiling by the end of class. She can’t wait to see you at the studio!

I’ve always enjoyed being active and on the move! I was big into running but after giving birth to my son and having a tough recovery, running was not an option at the time. I heard great things about pilates and decided to go to a class and well ...I fell in love!

I enjoy spending time with family, trying new sushi spots with my partner, and just being open to new adventures like triathlons or learning how to ride a motorcycle!

After joining Core Collective in May 2022, Brittany has found her favorite place and community in Ann Arbor. HIIT cardio, core and glute-focused workouts have been Brittany’s passion since her cheerleading days at Grand Valley State University. Outside of Core Collective, Brittany is an early-intervention speech language-pathologist working with families of children zero-three years old. Alli joined Core Collective in August 2022 and immediately felt like she had found the missing piece. After years of trial and error with group fitness classes she was eager to try something new that balanced weight training, cardio, and stretching. Reformer Pilates was a great change of pace and the environment at Core Collective was welcoming and inspiring. She immediately knew that she had found the perfect place for a challenging, fun, and engaging workout.
Alli started teaching in winter 2023 and has absolutely loved her first few months of creating workouts and meeting new clients.

Outside of the studio, Alli is a recent master’s graduate at University of Michigan and an avid cat lover. She loves to spend her time reading, doing yoga, going for walks, visiting Family, and (most importantly) relaxing with her three wonderful cats: Francine, Walter, and Ruby. Alli is beyond excited to continue teaching at Core Collective and can hardly wait to meet you in the studio!
