Can I use my membership at both Ann Arbor studios?

Yes. Core Collective memberships and class packs can be used at either Ann Arbor location - Plymouth Road and Packard Row.

How does the Core Collective waitlist work?

Most waitlists clear each week. You'll get a text if you're moved into a class; if that happens more than 10 hours before class, the standard cancellation policy applies, and if it happens inside 10 hours you're free to skip it.

Yes. Current members can book one guest per billing period at a discounted rate through our guest booking page. Guest bookings aren't available to non-members.

Yes. A limited number of student memberships are available each semester starting at $66 per month. They must be purchased in studio with a valid student ID and run on 3-month terms.

We offer multiple membership options so you can incorporate Pilates into your life no matter how busy you are. Choose from 4, 8 and 12 sessions per month, with month-to-month, 3-month and annual commitment options. We also offer a 16-session/month auto-renewing option and an unlimited membership waitlist.

What is the difference between month-to-month, 3-month and annual memberships?

Month-to-month memberships offer the most flexibility. Three-month memberships give you a mix of savings and commitment. Annual memberships offer the greatest savings and additional membership perks.

Yes! We have a limited number of student memberships available each semester, starting at $66/month. These must be purchased in studio with a valid student ID and have 3-month terms.

Do you have an unlimited membership option?

Yes, we do. Unfortunately, due to very high demand and limited class capacity, we currently have a waitlist for this membership. In the meantime, we offer a 16-session/month auto-renewing membership, which is great if you're taking at least 4 classes per week but want the flexibility to book more once your monthly allotment runs out.

Can I take classes at both studio locations?

Do memberships include all class formats?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every Core Collective membership includes Core Circuit classes, and many members take both Pilates and Core Circuit throughout the week. There are no premium tiers or equipment surcharges.

What is the tower? Which classes use the tower?

The tower is a vertical attachment on the Reformers at our Packard studio. A mat is placed on the Reformer to create a larger, stable surface, while the tower's springs and bars provide resistance or support. We don't offer separate tower classes; the tower may be incorporated into select Packard classes depending on the instructor's preference and class focus.

How do I book more classes?

If you haven't already downloaded it, we highly recommend installing the Wellness Living 'Achieve' app to your phone; this is the easiest way to book classes, cancel classes and manage your account - especially if you are frequently on the go.

Do I need to reserve classes in advance?

We highly recommend booking your classes at least a week in advance - and you can book up to 3 weeks in advance if you really have your life together :)

How do I view my remaining visits?

If you are using the Wellness Living Achieve app, click on 'More' in the right-hand corner, then select 'Purchases' - you should be able to view your remaining sessions here. Then, simply click into your current membership to view your renewal date. You should be able to view the same information in the web app, as well.

I have an active membership, and the app is asking me to make a purchase - what do I do?

If this is happening, please double check the following things: make sure you don't have a negative balance on your account, make sure you have remaining visits for the month, and make sure your membership is not suspended. If you are still having trouble with this, feel free to reach out to let us know - we'd be happy to troubleshoot!

The class I want to take is waitlisted; will I get a spot?

Don't be afraid of the waitlist - it is very likely you will get into a waitlisted class! We cap our waitlists, and clear the vast majority of these waitlists every week. You will receive a text if you have cleared the waitlist and will be automatically placed into the class.

How does the waitlist work?

We highly encourage you to waitlist for classes, as we tend to clear the vast majority of our waitlists every week. You will get a text message if you are moved into the class - and while you have no obligation to attend if a spot opens up within 10 hours of class, if you are moved into the class prior to that point, our standard cancellation policy does apply. As a courtesy to other clients, please remove your name from the waitlist if you can no longer make it to class - we really appreciate it!

Can I waitlist for multiple classes on the same day?

We highly discourage this, as this often results in you getting into multiple classes, then being penalized for multiple late cancellations. Please choose the class that works best for your schedule; if you don't clear the waitlist for that class and another class opens up, we will notify you to let you know.

If you are unable to make it to a class, we ask that you cancel a minimum of 10 hours in advance. Classes canceled within 10 hours of their start time will be forfeited - and an additional $8 penalty will be assessed. No-shows are subject to a $12 penalty. This policy helps waitlisted clients get moved into class and helps you stay accountable.

What is your tardiness policy?

We do ask that you arrive on time to class whenever possible, as it can be disruptive to other clients when you arrive late. Being on time also ensures you don't miss instructions on how to set up your reformer, which can vary from class to class. That being said, we know things happen, so we don't have a strict tardiness policy. If you know you will be more than 5 minutes late, though, please text us or leave us a voicemail to give us a heads up - this is really helpful for our instructors!

What if I'm moved off the waitlist within 10 hours of class?

If a spot opens up within 10 hours of class start time, you have no obligation to attend. Our standard cancellation policy only applies if you are moved into the class prior to that 10-hour window.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrades and downgrades are both requested through our membership changes forms. Downgrades take effect on your next renewal date unless you tell us otherwise, and upgrading or downgrading resets longer-term membership terms.

How do I cancel my membership?

Per your membership agreement, we require that you complete your cancellation request 21 days before your renewal date, and that you complete your current membership term to avoid early termination fees. These same terms apply for clients coming off of a membership suspension. If you're planning to return later, a longer-term suspension is often a better option.

Can I change my membership halfway through my current billing month?

Unfortunately, we cannot upgrade your membership mid-month (meaning we can't retroactively switch your membership to cover classes you already took), but we would be happy to upgrade you before your next renewal date! The same applies to downgrades - we cannot downgrade your membership mid-month, but we would be happy to downgrade you on your next renewal date.

What happens to my unused sessions after I downgrade?

You can roll over up to half of your unused sessions into your first month at your new membership level. Please note that this option does not apply if you are downgrading from an unlimited membership. Let us know if you would like us to do this, as our system does not do it automatically.

Can I use my sessions after I cancel my membership?

Unfortunately, our system does not allow this. If you are worried about losing sessions, we would recommend either downgrading your membership or converting to a class pack - reach out to us to let us know you're having trouble using all your sessions, and we can figure out the best solution for you!

In most cases, we recommend downgrading if your membership termination date and move date don't align - email us if you are in this situation, though and we can figure something out!

We actually have a lot of clients in similar situations. In most cases, we recommend purchasing a class pack, but we also allow visitors the option to book individual sessions at a flat discounted rate - email us to ask what would work best for your situation, and we'd be happy to share more details!

Is there a minimum or maximum amount of time I can suspend my membership?

We can suspend your membership in 2-week increments. We do ask that you suspend for a maximum of 60 days per rolling calendar year, but may waive this in certain situations.

We charge a $8 suspension fee per 28-day period your account is on hold. This is a recurring fee, and will renew every 28 days for as long as your account is on hold. Students: we charge a one-time $15 fee in place of a recurring charge.

What is the difference between suspending and cancelling?

Suspending your membership allows you to continue at your same membership rate or rate tier when you return. If you cancel your membership and return at a later date, you may be charged a higher rate, or be required to commit to a longer term, or both.

I'm currently on an unlimited membership. Will I be able to reinstate it when I return?

You may return on an unlimited membership for your first month back, but you may be added to our unlimited waitlist after this point, as we open up unlimited memberships to other waitlisted clients when we have current unlimited members suspend.

What are my options if I'm injured or need to have surgery?

We do offer free medical suspensions for up to 6 months (unless you specifically request to suspend for longer than this).

I'm a student. Can I suspend for the summer, or if I'll be off campus next semester?

Accepted Answer

Yes, of course! We allow one suspension between 14 and 30 days during the academic year, and an additional suspension of any duration during the summer. If you'll be off campus, please note this in the comments field - we will happily make an exception for off-campus study or study abroad.

Do my unused sessions roll over?

Unused sessions roll over for our 4, 8 and 12 session monthly memberships and are good at both Ann Arbor studio locations. Our 16-session membership is billed every 28 days or when your sessions run out, whichever comes first.

What happens to my unused sessions after I downgrade?

You can roll over up to half of your unused sessions into your first month at your new membership level. Please note that this option does not apply if you are downgrading from an unlimited membership.

Guests are booked at a discounted rate. Guest passes are $18 when purchased by a current member. You can see the current price when you purchase a guest pass through our booking system.

How do I reserve the class?

You don't book the class yourself. Fill out the guest questionnaire with the class, date, time and location you'd like, purchase a guest pass and we'll book your guest in for you.

How quickly will I hear back?

We try our best to get back to you within a 24-hour timeframe. If your class is sooner than that, or you're worried your guest may miss out on the class, text the studio at 734.999.0372 so we can take care of it right away.

Does my guest need an account?

We'll set one up for them. That's why we ask for your guest's phone number - we need some form of contact information (phone or email) in order to set up an account for your guest.

Can I choose which reformer my guest is on?

Yes. On the questionnaire you can request an open reformer between 1 and 17. If you leave it blank, we will try our best to select a reformer next to yours, or may move you so you are able to be next to each other.

Our childcare program is available for children of all ages while their parent or guardian attends a scheduled class at Core Collective.

Yes. Advanced reservations are required for all childcare sessions and are subject to availability. We recommend reserving your spot as early as possible, especially for popular class times.

No. We do not provide snacks or meals during childcare. If you feel your child may need a bottle or snack during your class, please bring it with you and be available by text should your child need you.

No. Parents are responsible for diaper changes and toileting needs during their visit. If your child needs assistance, we'll send you a text so you can step out of class and help before returning to your workout.
